December 10, 2009: Flaws in the 'global warming theory Four Colossal Holes in the Theory of Man-Made Global Warming by John Hawkins - Tuesday, December 08, 2009 - Townhall In summary he notes: - Climate change has been around as long as the earth - The earth was cooling from roughly 1940-1976 - So, if it's global warming, why isn't there any warming occurring now? - Climate models can't accurately project the weather 100 years in the future
December 5, 2009: Is it all about money??? When I say green, you say money! "It's about money, plain and simple. The push for an international treaty at Copenhagen has little to do with climate change and much to do with money...." Brian Lilley | Wednesday, 4 November 2009 - On MercatorNet.

5 October 2009 - UN Climate Reports and the hockey stick graph UN Climate Reports: They Lie - By Marc Sheppard - American Thinker. "For years, claims that UN climate reports represent the consensus of the majority of international scientists have been mindlessly accepted and regurgitated by left-leaning policy makers and the media at large. But in the past week or so, it's become more apparent than ever that those who've accused the international organization of politicizing science and manipulating data have been right all along. This latest disclosure again concerns what has become the favorite propaganda propagation tool of climate activists -- the infamous "Hockey Stick Graph." The familiar reconstruction, which deceitfully depicts last millennium's global temperatures as flat prior to a dramatic upturn last century, has been displayed and touted ad nauseum as irrefutable proof of unprecedented and, therefore, anthropogenic, global warming (AGW). Despite its previous debunking, the embattled AGW poster-child continues to languish in UN climate reports, which are unduly revered and quoted as gospel by all manner of proselytizers. In fact, just last week it had the bad timing to show up in a desperate UN compendium, released just days before Climate Audit published facts that promise to be the Hockey Stick's (HS) long overdue epitaph. And those facts not only assuage any doubt of the chart's fraudulence, but also of the deliberate and devious complicity of its creators, defenders and leading UN sponsors. But before delving into the sordid details, perhaps a little background is in order. . . "
5 October 2009 - Global Warming Scare THE GLOBAL WARMING SCARE IS ALL OVER BUT THE SHOUTING National Post, 3 October 2009 - By Lawrence Solomon "The great global warming scare is over - it is well past its peak, very much a spent force, sputtering in fits and starts to a whimpering end. You may not know this yet. Or rather, you may know it but don't want to acknowledge it until every one else does, and that won't happen until the press, much of which also knows it, formally acknowledges it. . ."
5 October 2009 - Origins of global warming agenda I was recently sent a VERY interesting article about some of the origins of the 'global warming' agenda. We have long known about the connections between the global warming scenario and those promoting 'population control', such as Paul Ehrlich. This article highlights the role of Margaret Mead and other population control people. In particular, the article looks at the role of the 1975 US conference called "The Atmosphere: Endangered and Endangering" which was organised by the influential anthropologist Margaret Mead - in 1974, when she organised the conference, she was president of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

February 26, 2009 - Many Japanese scientists dismiss 'global warming' 'Global warming' data called 'ancient astrology' Researchers rebuke world pressure to accept climate doctrine February 26, 2009, WorldNetDaily "At the very moment President Obama is committing the U.S. to a leadership role in combating so-called "global warming" and "climate change," scientists are breaking with the hypothesis that temperatures around the world are on a steady increase for the foreseeable future. A new report from Japan's Energy Commission reveals that Japanese scientists are rejecting U.N. and Western-backed theories of climate change. Three out of five researchers do not agree with the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's hypothesis that man-made greenhouse gas emissions are primarily responsible for warming patterns, the UK's Register reports. One scientist likened computer climate modeling to ancient astrology, while others criticized the U.S. for lacking ground temperature data to support its claims. Several contributors said the mid-20th century warming trend has ended...."

2 June 2008 - Bishop says climate-change deniers are as bad as sex dungeon father Josef Fritzl Daily Mail -UK "A Church of England bishop has been criticised after he compared climate change sceptics to the Austrian child abuser Josef Fritzl. The Bishop of Stafford, the Right Reverend Gordon Mursell, said it was hard to imagine a more disgusting crime than Fritzl's, who sealed his daughter in a cellar for 24 years. But Dr Mursell added: 'You could argue that, by our refusal to face the truth about climate change, we are as guilty as he is. We are in effect locking our children and grandchildren into a world with no future and throwing away the key.' His comments, which were made in a pastoral letter addressed to churchgoers, have been widely attacked...."
ARCHIBALD PRIZE Tim Blair - Monday, May 12, 08 Western Australia 's David Archibald writes: Your mentioning my win in Iowahawk's carbon footprint competition resulted in my being written up in last Thursday's West Australian. In that article, John Connelly of The Climate Institute said that I am destroying the environment. I have written a reply. Do read on. David Archibald writes: "John Connor of The Climate Institute says that my boat, my car and I are destroying the environment. My work says the opposite. The more carbon dioxide you put into the atmosphere, the more you are helping all plants on the planet to grow, and of course that makes you a better person. Virtue is in direct proportion to your carbon dioxide output. What of the temperature, you ask? Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, but the effect is strongly logarithmic. The first 20 ppm achieves 1.5 degrees of heating, but it takes more than another 400 ppm to equal that. By the time we get to the current level of 384 ppm, carbon dioxide is tuckered out as a greenhouse gas. From here, every 100 ppm extra may be worth 0.1 of a degree. . ."
Is the earth getting warmer, or cooler? A tale of two thermometers By Steven Goddard Published Friday 2nd May 2008. Analysis - A paper published in scientific journal Nature this week has reignited the debate about Global Warming, by predicting that the earth won't be getting any warmer until 2015. Researchers at the Leibniz Institute of Marine Sciences have factored in cyclical oceanic into their climate model, and produced a different forecast to the "consensus" models which don't. But how will we know whether the earth is warming or cooling? Today, it all depends on the data source. Two authorities provide us with analysis of long-term surface temperature trends. Both agree on the global temperature trend until 1998, at which time a sharp divergence occurred. The UK Meteorological Office'sHadley Center for Climate Studies Had-Crut data shows worldwide temperatures declining since 1998. According to Hadley's data, the earth is not much warmer now than it was than it was in 1878 or 1941...."
Gore Used Fictional Video to Illustrate 'Inconvenient Truth' Noel Shepherd, News Busters, 22/4/2008. "It goes without saying that climate realists around the world believe Nobel Laureate Al Gore used false information throughout his schlockumentary "An Inconvenient Truth" in order to generate global warming hysteria. On Friday, it was revealed by ABC News that one of the famous shots of supposed Antarctic ice shelves in the film was actually a computer-generated image from the 2004 science fiction blockbuster "The Day After Tomorrow."..." A cool idea to warm to The Australian, Christopher Pearson | April 26, 2008 "ABOUT the beginning of 2007, maintaining a sceptical stance on human-induced global warming became a lonely, uphill battle in Australia. The notion that the science was settled had gathered broad popular support and was making inroads in unexpected quarters...." Christopher goes on to show how an increasing number of people and organisations are becoming sceptical of the notion of 'global warming'....

Food crisis will take hold before climate change, warns chief scientist The Guardian, 7 March 2008 Professor John Beddington said ""There is progress on climate change. But out there is another major problem. It is very hard to imagine how we can see a world growing enough crops to produce renewable energy and at the same time meet the enormous increase in the demand for food which is quite properly going to happen as we alleviate poverty."
Biofuel crops 'increase' greenhouse, says report The Age, February 9, 2008 "GROWING crops to produce biofuels - seen as part of the solution to global warming - is actually increasing greenhouse gas emissions, scientists report. Two separate US studies, published in the journal Science, show that changes to land use associated with growing food-based biofuels produce the greatest source of emissions..."
The two studies in Science: Use of U.S. Croplands for Biofuels Increases Greenhouse Gases Through Emissions from Land-Use Change Study published in Science , 29 Feb 2008.
Land Clearing and the Biofuel Carbon Debt Science 29 Feb 2008. "Increasing energy use, climate change, and carbon dioxide (CO2)emissions from fossil fuels make switching to low-carbon fuelsa high priority. Biofuels are a potential low-carbon energysource, but whether biofuels offer carbon savings depends onhow they are produced. Converting rainforests, peatlands, savannas,or grasslands to produce food crop-based biofuels in Brazil, Southeast Asia, and the United States creates a "biofuel carbondebt" by releasing 17 to 420 times more CO2than the annual greenhouse gas (GHG) reductions that these biofuels would provide by displacing fossil fuels. In contrast, biofuels made fromwaste biomass or from biomass grown on degraded and abandonedagricultural lands planted with perennials incur little or nocarbon debt and can offer immediate and sustained GHG advantages...."
