Marriage ManifestoThe Marriage Manifesto was presented at a Summit on marriage held at the federal parliament in September 2007. The document contains legislative recommendations for the federal parliament to propose that would support and promote marriage. The National Marriage Coalition was responsible for publishing the booklet '21 Reasons Why Marriage Matters' at the National Marriage Forum in 2004, which was one of the events leading up to the passing of the amendment to the Marriage Act that ensures that marriage is ONLY between a man and a woman.That booklet is included as an appendix to the 'Marriage Manifesto'. |
