Victorian election - 25 November 2006

The election will be held on 25 November 2006. Victoria now has FIXED four year terms.

The Parliament is made up of

Legislative Assembly:
There are 88 'Districts' across the State. Voters elect one person to represent each District.

Legislative Council:
There are major changes to the Legislative Council at this election. There are EIGHT Regions which will each have FIVE Members.
It is possible that minor parties could gain one of the five seats so it vital to understand the policies of ALL parties!
The Nationals, Greens and Family First are all vying for these seats....
