South Australia - Parliament and MPs

South Australia has two Houses of Parliament, the House of Assembly (47 Members) and the Legislative Council (22 members).

Voters have one representative in the House of Assembly, but are represented by ALL Members of the Legislative Council.

The Labor Party forms the government in South Australia.

The Premier is Hon Jay Weatherill.

The Leader of the Opposition is Mrs Isobel Redmond (Lib).
